Hello. My name is Kristian Portella, and I am a photographer and videographer in New York City. My journey towards photography and videography started as a fine artist. Together with my university studies in film production, film studies, and photography, I developed a love for photography and film. I went on to work as an official photographer and videographer for The Fire Department of The City of New York, as well as a videographer for Columbia University.

 

A camera is not only a tool for capturing images, but an instrument that

creates a work of art, captures a moment in time, tells a story, and provides memories.
